2004年より活動を開始する。
型染め、注染、プリントによるオリジナルの染布を制作。
様々な企業へ図案の提供も行い、商品化もされている。

動物、昆虫、植物、風景・・・・
布を広げた時に、ものがたりを想像できるようなデザイン。
型染めの表現を活かした図案づくりが特長。

Kata Kata is a textile designer group of 2 person, Takeshi Matsunaga and Chie Takai. The unit is active since 2004.

They use stencil dyeing, screen printing and printing to create unique and original dyed cloth.
Their patterns and products are offered and commercialized by many companies.

Animals, insects, plants, landscapes,…
When spreading the cloth a whole story unfolds before you.

All the designs take advantage of the dyeing stencil.
