Day Starter is a design duo whose work focuses primarily on original illustrations and textile design.
The concept behind their art is "taking a lesson from the past".
1950's pop culture was the heyday of a nostalgic and pleasant view of the world. Day Starter take this view and give it a modern twist.
They have colaborated with a variety of apparel brands on top of creating textile designs and artwork for musicians.

2000-2010 Ran the illustration and clothing shop "Day Starter" in Shinmachi, Nish-ku, Osaka
2017 Started the original handkerchief brand OLIM
2017 Worked on a collaboration with rock band The Rolling Stones
