She began self-studying backstitching in 1998 and took on the pseudonym ma.macaron in 2006.
The name "ma.macaron" comes from her desire to live a life filled with the soft and colorful shades of macarons.
She primarily makes emboidered objet d'art, which she makes stitch by stitch with the help of her embroidery machine.

BIOGRAPHY

2006	Started selling her handmade brooches and necklaces under the pseudonym ma.macaron in a shop modeled after a small French salon
2007	Began expanding into children's accessories and selling her creations in a children's clothing store
	ma.macaron started moving from fashion accessories into interior design little by little with her work on wall-mounted art pieces
2013 - 2023	Expanded into performance-style art with a focus on interior design after her experience working on a joint exhibition in Tokyo with stagings every year
	From 2023 onwards, she has been selling her interior decor pieces and art in stores in Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe, Fukuoka, and Boston. She regularly opens pop-up shops around Japan to display and sell her work as well.
