Taku Bannai is an illustrator who creates collages for advertisements, book covers, magazines, and CD jackets.
Bannai is known for putting a lyrical spin on everyday scenes as well as his minimalistic style and ample use of negative space that leaves room for the viewer's immagination and for plenty of stories to be told.
Some of his notable works have been featured in Volkswagen advertisements and visuals for play "BGM" performed by theater troupe Lolo, movie "Honey Boy", Coca-Cola's Ayataka Cafe line of products, and the song BLUE SOULS featured in Pocari Sweat commercials.
